When selecting an air curtain for Flying Insect control, it is important to know the height of the opening to determine the right amount of air velocity to effectively control flying insects from entering the building. Air curtains for back doors and delivery doors require a minimum of 1,600 cfm(cubic feet per minute) for flying insect control. More is always better. A Mars Microswitch(Door Limit Switch) turns the air curtain On/Off as the door is OPENED/CLOSED automatically. This means no one needs to flip a switch to turn the unit on before the door is opened.
